Still at CMC-Charlotte. We have now been bumped to 4:00 transport. The insurance has something about 30 days paying the same so this day 27 for us so they don't care if it is today or the end of the week. They are paying the same. I don't understand it, but that is what the social worker told us. Also they have 48 hours to approve or decline the move. Since Lincoln Nursing only made the offer yesterday, we have until tomorrow for an answer. Maybe the delay will open a bed a Brian Center but then if we have to wait another 48 hours to get approval to go, I don't know where that will leave us. I am afraid that we might lose the bed at Lincoln Nursing. They have you over a barrel - those insurance companies. I am very frustrated as I sent everything home with the kids last night except what we would need for today through lunch. Don went down from more x-rays on his arm about 11:00 they just want to make sure everything is right before we leave. We haven't heard the results yet. I will post again later if we get to move.
