Don was awake when I arrived this morning. He said he slept well. I fed him breakfast and then he asked for his second helping - another egg sandwich & bacon on toast. We received a phone call from Donnie Lee and he is experiencing some health concerns. I went with Donnie Lee to the doctor while Don's dad stayed with at the center with Don. Please pray for us and I know you are and I know I keep repeating myself. But, we are having a lot of issues besides Don's accident. It seems we no more and get one thing taken care of and something else pops up. Our parents are trying to help in every way possible, but I hate to even call and ask them to help with anything else. They are starting Don on some anxiety medication today. It all is just more than he can deal with right now. After Donnie Lee's appointment, Don's dad and I had other meetings to go to so Don's mom stayed with him. While we were gone, they dressed Don and got him up with the lift and into his chair. When we came back he was in the day room. Lunch came and he fed himself. He had a couple of visitors to stop by during lunch. The visitors stayed until OT came after him for therapy. Therapy went good. No new improvements and he couldn't do some things with his legs that he could before. Therapy ended around 3:00 and we are in the lobby. Don is looking at some magazines.
